How I moved beyond my pain with a simple 3-phase approach…
I first got myself out of pain the Old Fashioned way.
But the:
- excessively long warm-ups
- hours of corrective exercises
- seemingly endless flare-ups
- and never-ending fear
put a significant strain on my mental health and overall well-being.
Eventually, I decided to do things differently.
I still “rehabbed” my way out of pain,
But without giving up working out (still trained 3+ x/week)
No invasive surgeries (just a well-designed plan)
No 30-minute warm-ups (10 minutes is plenty)
And without having to “restart” every time I had a flare-up (I know what to do when pain pops up, and I can keep the momentum going).
The switch to my Beyond Pain Operating System was a choice on where my efforts were best spent…
And it wasn’t on endlessly trying new corrective exercises, using longer and longer warm-ups, or just accepting my limitations.
It was putting those efforts towards taking control of my flare-ups, attacking the lowest-hanging fruits and slowly rebuilding my tolerance to the things I love to do.
I replaced the “corrective exercise lottery” with something more effective for me…
A Simple Hybrid Rehab/Training approach that:
- eliminates pain while rebuilding a robust and extensive movement portfolio simultaneously
- gave me back the ability to train hard 3x/week, enjoy weekend adventures, and wake up every morning ready to attack the day.
I see so many athletes and fitness enthusiasts get stuck in the never-ending pain cycle.
I'm stuck trying to fix the same problem for months, fumbling with handfuls of corrective exercises and eliminating any exercise or activity that hurts.
Strategies based on the idea that if they can just avoid the pain, then the problem will be solved.
They can work—but they don’t have to be your only option.
This is why I am giving you as many insights and actional steps as possible so that you don’t make the same mistakes.
Jump in and enjoy.
